Anchors & Lipsticks is a one-person design studio run by Amethyst — a designer, illustrator and surface-pattern maker working out of Wollongong, Australia.

The name is the brief. Anchors are the things that hold a brand steady — clear thinking, consistent systems, design that actually works. Lipsticks are the bits that make it unforgettable — colour, character, the willingness to be a bit much. Most studios pick one. I do both, because most brands need both.

Everything here is shaped by how my brain works (autistic + ADHD), which means: deep focus, pattern-spotting for days, plain language over jargon, and structure that protects the creative work instead of strangling it.
